Computer Competence Training Centre
Computer Competence offers a range of friendly, professional training opportunities for people with little or no computer skills right up to those who want to extend their existing capabilities. Our training sessions focus on providing relevant knowledge and practical computer experience to build both confidence and competence. Our staff are supportive, patient and happy to move at a pace that suits each individual.
Small classes (2-6 people) are run on a regular basis and are designed to meet the needs of absolute beginners through to people with some experience. The classes cover the following topics and different courses focus on beginner, intermediate or advanced level skills.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Access) 2003 & 2007
- Mind Your Own Business (MYOB) software package
- An introduction to computers including Windows, email and Internet skills
For more specific training needs, one-to-one training can be provided.
Tailored corporate training is also available and will be arranged on an individual basis, specific to the organisation's needs. If you are interested in this, please email us to discuss your requirements.
All Computer Competence training is offered by fully qualified staff with extensive educational experience and computer qualifications. The director and principal trainer is Vivianne Mail.
Scheduled classes and one-to-one training take place in the Computer Competence training rooms conveniently located in the Phoenix Arcade in central Nelson.
